Terms and Conditions
Last updated: April 28, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using DirectDigiAid or completing a donation, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and any policies referenced here. If you do not agree, do not use the service or submit a donation.
2. Donation Purpose
Donations are intended to provide aid to verified recipients or approved causes displayed on the platform. DirectDigiAid may use identity, need, affiliation, demographic, and social verification processes to support recipient review, but no verification process can guarantee future conduct, outcomes, or use of funds.
3. Payment Processing
Card and bank payments are processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. Some payment methods, including bank debits and transfers, may take additional time to clear. A donation may remain pending until payment is confirmed by the payment processor.
4. Fees and Net Aid
DirectDigiAid may deduct platform fees, payment processing fees, and applicable charges as disclosed during checkout. Estimated aid amounts may differ from final amounts due to processor fees, currency handling, settlement timing, or other operational adjustments.
5. Blockchain Transactions
Recipient payouts may be recorded or completed through blockchain-based contracts or wallets. Once a blockchain transaction is submitted and confirmed, it may be irreversible. Donors are responsible for reviewing recipient and transaction information before proceeding.
6. Refunds and Cancellations
Donations are generally final once payment is confirmed or funds are transferred. DirectDigiAid may review refund requests at its discretion where legally required, where payment fails, or where funds have not yet been disbursed.
7. Recipient Reporting
DirectDigiAid may request recipients to provide updates, evidence, or reporting about how funds were used. Such reporting may be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable, and DirectDigiAid does not guarantee any specific social, educational, financial, or professional outcome.
8. Donor Responsibilities
Donors are responsible for ensuring they are legally permitted to donate, that payment information is accurate, and that donations comply with applicable laws, tax rules, and sanctions restrictions in their jurisdiction.
9. No Tax or Legal Advice
DirectDigiAid does not provide tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice. Donors should consult qualified advisers about deductibility, reporting, and legal obligations related to donations.
10. Changes to Terms
DirectDigiAid may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the platform after updates are posted means you accept the revised terms.
